A ball valve, a valve whose opening and closing parts are driven by a valve stem and rotate around the axis of the ball valve. It can also be used for fluid adjustment and control. Before repairing, relieve the pipeline pressure and leave the valve in the open position; disconnect the power supply or air supply; disconnect the actuator from the bracket. Before disassembling and disassembling operations, it must be confirmed that the upstream and downstream pipelines of the ball valve have indeed been relieved of pressure. When disassembling and reassembling, care must be taken to prevent damage to the sealing surface of the parts, especially non-metallic parts. Special tools should be used when removing the O-ring. During assembly, the bolts on the flange must be tightened symmetrically, gradually, and evenly. The cleaning agent should be compatible with rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts, and working medium (such as gas) in the ball valve. When the working medium is gas, gasoline (GB484-89) can be used to clean metal parts. Non-metallic parts should be cleaned with pure water or alcohol. After cleaning, non-metallic parts should be removed from the cleaning agent immediately. After cleaning, it needs to be assembled after the wall cleaning agent volatilizes (can be wiped with silk cloth not soaked in cleaning agent), but it should not be left for a long time. Otherwise, it will rust and be contaminated by dust. The new parts must also be cleaned before assembly. During assembly, no metal debris, fibres, grease (except those specified for use), dust and other impurities, foreign objects, etc. should be allowed to contaminate, adhere or stay on the surface of the parts or enter the internal cavity. If there is slight leakage at the packing, the stem nut must be tightened again. Don't lock too tightly, usually lock 1/4 turn to 1 turn again, leakage will stop.

When reassembling, clean and inspect the removed parts. It is strongly recommended to replace the seals such as valve seat and bonnet gasket with a spare parts package. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. Tighten the flange connection bolts crosswise with the specified torque. Tighten the stem nut with the specified torque. After installing the actuator, input the corresponding signal to rotate the valve core to rotate the valve stem to make the valve open and close.

If possible, please perform the pressure seal test and performance test on the a valve according to relevant standards before reinstalling the pipeline.
