Bellow valves are a type of control valve that involves the usage of bellows to seal the components of the valve stem. These valves have bellows that resemble accordions; specifically, the bellows cartridge part is welded to the valve stem and the bonnet. With little to no friction, the bellows contract or expand during the valve stroke, together with the linear motion of the sliding stem.

Formed Bellows:

Xintai follows a standard design, where formed bellows start out as flat sheets (thin wall foil) that are rolled into tubes and longitudinally fused to shape into a single layer. Multi-ply bellows are created by combining thin metal layers. The bellows’ widely spread, circular folds are created by mechanical or hydrostatic force. Welded Bellows:

Welded bellows are manufactured by welding washer-like plates of thin metal at both their inner and outer circumferences.
